Choosing matching bar stools and chairs for a seating area can make a really great looking dining area. Have a small bar / shelf surrounding your seating area with bar stools and then have matching seats in a central lower area for example, so visitors can choose to sit down, if perhaps for example having a full meal or pehaps take a shorter stop at the counter area. Using matching furniture creates a consistent style throughout the area. The same effect can be created in appropriate residential settings as well, with perhaps a breakfast bar complementing a similarly styled low dining table in the same area.
