Kitchen Bar Stools

When choosing a kitchen bar stool, please first measure your counter height.
1. A typical kitchen counter is 36 inches off the ground, so you would want a stool whose seat height is around 24 to 26 inches.
2. If you have pass through or over-the-sink counter tops that run 40 inches or even higher:
*Choose standard 30 inch bar seat height for 42 inch counter heights.
*Choose extra tall seat heights (34 to 36 inches) if the counter top is 46 or 48 inches.
