A brief History: March 2006, was Mart Products first official showing of the patented Ostrich 3N1 Beach Chair was at The International Home and Housewares (IHA) Convention in Chicago.The consensus of the attendees was unanimous; The Ostrich 3N1 Beach Chair was indeed the most unique beach chair at the convention. The Ostrich 3N1 Beach Chair was selected at this convention as 1 of only 5 products to be featured on “Fox News”. “Good Morning America” also selected the Ostrich 3N1 Beach Chair to be featured on their program the following month. Robin Roberts (host) called it “The PerfectBeach Chair”. Sales of the 3N1 chairs were so brisk on the day it was featured that most retailers completely sold out.

In May, 2006, the Ostrich 3N1 Beach Chair made another appearance at the National Hardware / Lawn and Garden Convention in Las Vegas. The interest level was similar to the IHA Convention, with buyers still intrigued with the versatility and uniqueness of the chair. This show was very gratifying as there were many beach chair manufacturers, from all over the world, displaying their products. The consensus of the attendees was that the Ostrich 3N1 Beach Chair was more than just a beach chair, and that the open and closable face cavity and arm slots separated it from the other chairs in the same price range.

In late 2007, they added an economically priced Ostrich Folding Beach Chaise to their line which also utilizes their open / closeable face cushion and arm slots. For the 2008 season, they made significant improvements to their already popular Ostrich 3N1 model, including a comfortable pillow, doing away the Velcro, adding a 1 piece horseshoe cushion, adding 2.5” to the overall length…and adding 2 new colors (blue and pink). Additionally, they have added a line of European manufactured Sling Chaise Lounges for both the resort and pool / spa market individual pool owners. One of their models utilizes their patented face cushion and arm slots for ease of reading while on your stomach and / or just plain tanning.
