We are using these at our outdoor kitchen bar area. I was a bit concerned about rusting, but if you coat the base with WD40 it should help prevent that. Most of the outdoor barstools I looked at were [$] or more and non had the contemporary look. The adjustable height and swivel are wonderful!

We purchased 4 of these stools for our newly remodeled kitchen. Our kitchen island is 11-ft long, so the stools fit in nicely and we like them because they are adjustable and swivel. Since our kitchen is part of our great room, you can swivel and watch the big-screen tv or swivel back and chat with those in the kitchen! We are very happy with our purchase.
