Our stools are used at our kitchen island and are very comfortable and very sturdy. After shopping in local stores, we were disappointed in the quality. We were swayed to purchased these by other positive comments. [...] You may pay a few bucks more than others, but the quality is there.

Purchased 5 years ago sight unseen for the kitchen of our house which was being built. Our kitchen has a large island that extends to become our kitchen table. We had selected Maple cabinets with a Cherry Stain finish. Ordered the chairs with 'Pecan' finish and crossed my fingers. [...] They couldn't have matched any more perfectly!!! :) We selected the Sherpa Black seat cover which has held up nicely over the years, inculding under our 3 year olds booster seat. If I had it to do over again I may have tried the vinyl to make cleanup easier, but I really do love my stools!

We looked all over to find Counter height stools at a decent price. We could not even find Counter stools that we liked. We took a flyer on these and ordered (4). We were so pleased with the quality and the price that we ordered an additional (2) to fill out the island. I was concerned that the second order would not match the original four. You can put that worry aside, I can interchange them and you can not pick out the second order!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
